Had some differing weather conditions over the 4 day trip,and this selection shows it more than any i think.Spooked some USAF Police by trying (unsuccessfully i might add) to photograph C130s circuit bashing at night,which added to the fun!

The weather was at times appalling and a few of the take-off shots were taken through heavy rain! The weather did make for some interesting lighting on the day tho!

Whilst staying at Mildenhall for a few days,we decided to visit this great museum.The weather was fantastic,a complete contrast to my last visit here.I highly recommend a visit to this collection,very interesting and the staff are very helpful and informative.

On the 26th September 09,Jaguar XX763 was delivered on permanent loan to B.A.M.Here are a few shots of the Jag,taken from various different angles.As can be seen,she is nearly whole again,with just the tailplane and a few panels to be fitted.I will update as and when the work is finished.

The best day for weather by a long way.A superb flying display as always though the static was a bit thin on the ground compared to previous years.Still totally enjoyed it as always!

Collection of shots taken from a pleasure boat of the ship itself,the aircraft and some of the tail colour schemes.Also are a couple of shots of the USS The Sullivans,and some harbour shots through the fog!

This Event,in it's first year proved highly successful and will be repeated again next year,7th March.Organised by Steve Tydeman and a band of aviation enthusiasts,the theme included Vintage buses,military vehicles,fire engines and vintage cars.A few of the assorted buses were also running trips throughout the day around the local area.....Roll on next year!!!

This selection of shots is of the arrival of former Yellows/Thamesdown Fleet number 167/267 which has been purchased by B.A.M. to provide a viewing platform enabling the public to watch the movements at the Bournemouth Int'l Airport across the road from the museum.It is also ideal for photographers as the windows along the top deck have some sliding openings large enough for the largest of lenses to fit through.

Back by popular demand,here is another set of scanned prints from yeteryear.Some airshow shots from various locations,inc. Paris,Bournemouth,Mildenhall,Bentwaters,Fairford etc.All were taken in the mid 80's.There are also some non airshow shots.

The first Bournemouth Aviation Museum Supporters Club trip was a huge success.Thanks to Steve T for organizing the tour at B-N,and to all at Sandown for their hospitality as we had nothing arranged there,and managed to get around most of the hangars.

1st flight to LHR of a QANTAS' A380 was a big draw on the Saturday,and the weather was very kind for some departure shots of this and the newest Singapore 9V-SKF.Also included are a few of the rest of the arrivals for the day.Sunday's visit was for another QANTAS A380 and a Thai A340-600.

The weather was hazy on the day i chose to take my photos and i was also shooting from the cliff top which was into the sun so the results were quite challenging to edit! Here are the results from one of the best shows of the year and it was free!

Thanks to All at Airbourne Surveys and Bell Geospace involved in the arranging of this full access tour of C-FTGI currently based at Bournemouth Airport.The weather was perfect after days of overcast,and we were told to fill our boots-so we did! Here are the shots i took of this fascinating airbourne geo-survey aircraft.

Spent 3/4 of a day at the end of the runway here and saw 27 different F-15s,which was far above expectations! Unfortunately the weather was pretty poor,as was the light hence some of the pics are a bit off,but it gave us a chance to suss out the best spots for a future visit.

The title says it all,Mayoral visits from Christchurch and Bournemouth,ribbon cutting and Champers,plus a Pembroke flypast!!!!----A great day for the museum,the culmination of 9 months of very hard work by all involved-----Come and see us soon!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather did its best to wreck the day and conditions were far from ideal for photography!! Here are a small selection of shots taken in some very challenging weather!

Determined not to let the cancellation of RIAT ruin my weekend,i set off for Duxford to see what Flying Legends had to offer-And i wasnt disappointed!! Superb show as ever,and a record crowd resulting in the entrance gates having to close! Lots of Fairford refugees! Star of the show had to be B-17G 'Liberty Belle' over from the U.S.

A first visit to this show for me and what a show it was,all at Kemble should be commended for what was a fantastic show from all points of view-content to facilities to organisation!! And even the weather behaved itself!!

This set was taken at the RAF Halton At Home Day,whose flying display was opened in style!!!

This selection was taken whilst awaiting the arrival of MD-11 HZ-AFAS.The weather was trying at best!!!

The morning dawned to a couple of inches of snow on the ground and appalling photographic conditions,but i managed these few in the afternoon from Hatton Cross car park in between snow showers!!

A few shots taken at LHR before and after some really atrocious weather!! I was very lucky to catch the Chilean AF Boeing 707 taking off into the sunset though!! Also included here are shots of the South African Air Force BBJ landing,and one from either side of the Air China A330 'Olympic Torch' aircraft.

Had fantastic weather for a day so decided to do a run around the above,including the very friendly aircraft scrapyard at Hillside Nurseries,Alton.

These are a few shots taken whilst on a hangar tour of Yeovilton.Access was granted to most of the Hangars and photography was permitted in all but two! A fantastic tour,spoilt only by the great British weather! Many thanks to Stuart Haigh/TopjetPics for arranging the tour,and all involved in showing us around. At the tail end are a few from Bournemouth,visited on the way home!
